Sometimes I wonder whether the future will turn out good for mankind. Will we be better off experiencing the end of the world in 2012? That's not a selfish thinking of an individual who feels like giving up. What if 3/4 of the people wants to end? The 1/4 will be the selfish ones.
Sometimes I feel I'm fighting too hard. That may sound like a good thing, the bad thing is I don't know what I'm fighting for.
Sometimes I wondered why 90% of the people on a train/bus are with their earphones on, eyes closed, heads down, when rushing for a 8.00am/8.30am/9.00am 'appointment'. Why can't they be in a vibrant mood looking forward to that 'appointment'?
Sometimes I feel that growing up is a chore. Life that revolves around Sega Megadrive and sand-filled playground. Life that revolves around playing catching during recess. Life that revolves around kicking soccer after school. Life where you think the future is still considerably far away. Life where responsibilities are virtually non-existence. We all want to go back to the times.
Sometimes I believed what people said. Singapore is a stressful and competitive place to live in. Where the rich will enjoy, while the middle class to poor suffer.
Sometimes I feel fortunate to be living in Singapore. Where natural disasters won't happen.
Sometimes I feel that future doesn't matter. We all will die one day.
Sometimes I feel that future does matter.
